Hans M.
Hello, I am new here and would like to put MIDI files on the MZX500 pads. Because it does not work directly I could write a program that loads a MIDI file and outputs a *.zph file. For this I need information how such a ZPH file is structured. Is there any documentation from Casio about MZ-X file formats or did someone find it out by himself ? When I look at a *.ZPH file in the Hex Editor it looks similar to a midifile. Can someone help ? Brad Saucier
I haven't tried this yet, but Casio has a data editor that can convert SMF to ZPH for the PX-5S. The resulting ZPH files may or may not work in the MZ-X500. https://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=
Hans M.
Hello, i tried it, but got an error message. It was worth a try, but unfortunately it did not work. There is still the question of the file format. A documentation would help.
