Random_Vibration Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Just browsed thru the owner's manuals on the MZ-X500 and did not find a way to delete user loaded tones from the onboard memory of the keyboard. Maybe I am missing something here but was deleting items from the onboard memory not thought about. I loaded a tone on the MZ-X500 under the wrong category and wanted to delete it and put it under the proper instrument category and found no such facility to do so beyond hard resetting the memory to factory default of the unit. Am I missing something here? Quote
Brad Saucier Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Press tone>edit>clear. *Page EN-6, MZ-X500 Tutorial Manual, Deleting a Tone Quote
Random_Vibration Posted February 13, 2021 Author Posted February 13, 2021 Your EN-6 is very different than mine. Are you using the pdf manual? Quote
Brad Saucier Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 This PDF https://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/Web_MZX500_300-E-2A_EN.pdf 1 Quote
Random_Vibration Posted February 13, 2021 Author Posted February 13, 2021 Thanks. It isn't in the paper manual or a searchable topic on this forum. Quote
Brad Saucier Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 See the footnote in the bottom right corner of that page, separate tutorial manual. The MZX series has several manuals. I posted links to everything in a pinned post in this section. 1 Quote
