Is it possible to quickly solo a track while in rhythm editing mode?

I'm not aware of any "solo" mode, but what I usually do is start the rhythm playing, then long-press the Mixer button (before going into Edit).  Scroll all the way to the right using the 1/3 left/right buttons, then go one more to the right to get to the next "page", which are the main Mixer controls for the rhythm section.  Using the left/right and +/- buttons, I turn parts on/off until I've isolated the part I want to edit, and any other parts I want to hear along with it.  Exit the Mixer mode, go into Edit mode, and do my changes.  Save the edit, and then repeat as needed with other parts (the main Mixer stays on the rhythm Mixer setting page, once you've scrolled over to it).  When done, go back into the main Mixer mode one last time and turn everything back on.  It sounds complicated, but it's really not.  The advantage of doing it this way, rather than turning parts on and off in Edit mode, is that there is less chance to accidentally leave something turned off in the final saved edit.
