StarCityCello
So, my new MacBook Pro (running macOS 11.4) has security issues with the Casio Data Manager 6.1. I'd wanted to create audio files using the Record feature on my WK-7600 and now am stymied because there's no way to get those into my computer. Here is the error message I receive: “CASIO DataManager6” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information." Anyone else experience this? Any news of Casio updating Data Manager to be compliant with new versions of macOS? Besides using a different computer - anyone have ideas on how to retrieve/convert the Casio recordings off the SD card to a WAV format? Based on my reading in the manual and online, this seems to require Casio's Data manager. Thanks in advance for any insight/advice you can lend. StarCityCello
Update - For those that land upon this thread in a search. I was finally able to get Data Manager to work on my MBP set up by Control Clicking the Data Manager app. You can find detailed instructions here: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-developer-mh40616/mac
