Sampler - sound change - conversion WAV to ZTN

Hey guys,

I have loaded some user samples into my MZ-X500 lately. I noticed some sound changes between the WAV file and the ZTN playback in the MZ-X500.

Especially with Saw-Waves and Brass Ensebles the ZTN sounds are thinner and spikier.
I import the wave files with 40.1 kHz, as it is written in the manual of the SampleManager.

How can I ensure a better fidelity from WAV to ZTN?

There is no cutoff applied. I just imported the samples via the sample Manager Software.

maybe I should try to connect the line out from the laptop to the mz‘s audio in. So the signal goes through the mz‘s AD-converter…. Perhaps it will be the same?
