Wojtek
Hi PX 560 is true beast but it has quite poor software support for sound design and recording. I got annoyed by audio recording section and managed to edit latest software update and change size of the record play keys and it works! I was looking to contact casio and ask them if: - they allow decompiling their os and modifying it for own purposes. - if it is possible to get access to source code Any owners that will like to risk running custom rom form community? Anything you hate in the software that can be changed easily? Maybe having some form of petition to casio will help. Casio builds most affordable hardware and it can open source some of the UI components without exposing their sound design etc. Edited January 26, 2022 by Wojtek typo
Wojtek
Per their license agreement: You may not modify, alter, adapt, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software.3) You may not resell, rend, lease, loan, or distribute this Software, or place the Software on a server or make it accessible by means of a network. I guess that concludes this topic
AndrewL
I don't think any keyboard manufacturer would go open source with their firmware/OSes. 2 hours ago, Wojtek said: edit latest software update and change size of the record play keys Did you mean that you upgraded the firmware, or something else? And what size change do you refer to? Maybe the MIDI editing feature? Edited January 26, 2022 by AndrewL
