Lopato
I'm trying to do something very simple: use my Privia as a keyboard controller, but when I connect to an external MIDI device, from either USB output, no signal seems to emit from the Privia. Is there some simple setting I'm not seeing? Can't find the solution in the docs. HELP!

Lopato
In both cases, the signal doesn't make it to the destination.
Brad Saucier
The only MIDI capable port on the PX-S3000 is the type B port, a port only designed to connect to a host device. The type A port is only for flash drives. A host device can be a computer, smart phone or tablet, or USB MIDI host adapter. With a computer, you'll need software capable of a loop connection between 2 MIDI devices, like DAW software.
