Migueljdc
Would be indebted if anyone who faced a situation like me, and got it resolved, would respond. Since last 2 days, I face a issue with the BUILD IN SPEAKERS which do not emit sound. The unit works with both headphone jacks (which I usually use) and also the line outputs. I tried a factory reset twice, powered off, with every input disconnected, but still no sound from the speakers. This is the 3rd year that I am using the unit and every time I face a different issue, during the monsoon in India (Goa) Wonder if HUMIDITY is the cause. Fortunately it is still under warranty (8thAug22) and I hope the issue is solved.
Joe Muscara
I have seen cases where the switch inside the headphone jack gets stuck and inserting and removing a headphone jack in the plug works it free.
Migueljdc
Thanks for the reply. I did try that a few times but it just does not seem to work. I also suspect that it could be caused due to humidity during this monsoons in Goa India. Anyway I have raised and issue with customer service and the technician has promised to come this week.. Besides since the unit is still under warranty I do not want to mess with it.
Joe Muscara
Inserting and removing a headphone jack won't void your warranty.
Migueljdc
The technician replaced the headphone jack circuit board, but without results, so now I am waiting for him to change the MB.(on order)
Jokeyman123
Too bad...you might have been able to de-humidify the unit-dry it out, this might have fixed it. Even modest amounts of moisture can do wonders to sabotage electronic connections. why i always hated outdoor gigs-that, and lightning!!!!!!
