spackel Posted October 25, 2023 Share Posted October 25, 2023 Hello, I want to play a track with a certain tone+DSP, but when I control the keyboard from the DAW via midi, only the tone is played without the DSP effects. Brad Saucier Posted October 25, 2023 Share Posted October 25, 2023 The CT-S sound engine has independent part groups for MIDI input and for keyboard local control, 48 parts total. Unfortunately the MIDI part group (port C), is unable to use DSP effects. Port C is the default MIDI IN setting. A firmware update allows port A to be selected. If your CT-S1000V or S500 is updated already, you'll find "MIDI IN 1-5Ch Port" in the settings menu. Change the setting from C to A.
