3AM Guitar
Cool forum. My first synth was a Casio CZ3000 in 1986. Still have a CZ1! Just bought a CDP-S360. Mainly for the piano, but the synth sounds aren't bad. Is there a mono mode? Looking to use it for 70's style synth leads.

Brad Saucier
No worries. We moved it. Welcome. The CDP series is entirely preset tones. You may find something you like among the presets. Unfortunately it's not possible to change how they work.
DavidT
My same question. I want to run my CPD-S360 to an amplifier in mono mode. The output only has a stereo mini plug? I was surprised.

I was surprised. That is a different question. "Mono" means something different in this topic. "Mono mode" is a synthesizer function where the keyboard is not polyphonic (only 1 note can sound at any given time). It is used as a performance tool. "Mono" sound (not stereo), can be taken from the stereo phones output. Casio keyboards are designed to work very well with only the left or right output in use. A stereo splitter cable can be used if desired.
