James Wylie
I was thinking about buying a looper pedal to connect my keyboard to then to an amp, and loop sounds to make some backing for live play. Isn't that pretty much what the pattern sequencer is for? record drums, bass, some other melody and play it back to use as a backing track. I love EDM and want to build the bass, melody, then drums. then perhaps mute some of the tracks to only sound say bass and drums, then punch the melodie back in. not sure if i can do that live with the mixer sliders or not, kinda like on a mixer board. guess im trying to be too creative lol. I was looking at the Boss table top mixer i've seen Frank Tedesco use on youtube( i think he uses that) but didnt know if i can kinda do something like that on the keyboard itself. Or maybe just create some edm style recordings to play along with without the build-ups or muting of different tracks.
James Wylie
I was also looking at some old videos on youtube from CMG Craig Gregory, and how he has trance songs built to play along with. That would be what i'm trying to do. and adding some fancy stuff over the pre-recorded backing.
Brad Saucier
You could pre-record some user rhythms then possibly use the mixer to bring different parts in and out as it plays back. I've done it on other models in the past. The WK should be able to do that.
