mm4096
I have a PX-S1000. I gave connected it to my computer via the usb port. With my program (Konfyt), I am able to get the notes I press on the piano. However, the output doesn't get played on the piano, only the default sound with the notes I just pressed. How do I get the audio playing on the piano, while muting the normal keys input? Brad Saucier
It's possible to connect your computer headphone output to the audio input jack on the PX-S1000. This would be the only way to send sound from the computer to the piano. To mute the internal sound of the PX-S1000, turn off "local control". You'll find a keyboard chart in the user manual showing which function key to press to turn that off.
mm4096
so is it not possible to send sound back through midi?
Solution Brad Saucier Posted April 5 Solution Share Posted April 5 MIDI is not audio. MIDI is a set of instructions, sort of like a digital form of sheet music or music notation. The USB connection only supports MIDI. It does not support audio.
