No matter what i hooked it up to it was noisey as heck,but then i hooked it up to the stereo input of the xw-p1and to my amazement it was completly noise free. so from now on im keeping it and my mp3 player through a little mixer permently hooked up to my xw-p1s input.The stereo input on the xw-p1 is very, very excellent. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sean777 Posted April 27, 2013 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Hi Pat, The Casio XW-P1 has a "Noise Gate" Filter... It's adjustable also. Patrick Arend Posted April 27, 2013 Author Share Posted April 27, 2013 Hi SEAN 777, I did get a little noise when i cranked up the xw-p1 all the way but, still for a 1/8 inch jack to knock out about 70 percent of the noise was impressive. I normally keep the big master volume knob of the xw-p1 at around 1 or 2 oclock ,this synth has alot of amp like power if you run that volume all the way, which can be pretty cool to get dirty sounds if one wanted to.
