AlenK
The Rotary (speaker) DSP effect (available in both the P1 and the G1) includes a Brake parameter that allows you to stop or start its rotation. Curiously, I don't see a way to select this in real time as you can on a real Leslie (and which some musicians do use as a special effect of sorts).Without this control the Brake parameter will only be useful if you want to use the overdrive of the rotary DSP effect without the rotation part. But since the overdrive has only three levels and sounds a tad nasty to boot, I can't see anyone wanting to do this. They would just use the distortion DSP effect instead. Am I missing something? Is there a way to change the Brake parameter setting in real time? Would it even make sense to do so (i.e., would it stop the rotor sound too abruptly if you could activate it)?
Joe Gerardi
Can you assign a NRPN or MIDI CC# to it? ..Joe
Mike Martin
You can assign the sustain pedal to do it, instead of sustain.
