Joe Muscara
One thing I'd like to see with the various downloads that are posted would be examples of the sound, possibly in use. I don't mean a link to Stevie's version of Superstition, what I want to hear is what your patch sounds like coming from your PX-5S. At first, I was collecting all the downloads but after a while there were too many and lots I probably wouldn't use. (I generally don't play in cover bands, for instance.) Still, I'd like to hear what you guys have done with your sounds without loading each of them in my PX-5S and possibly having to learn the associated tune. Even if the associated tune is something I might not play myself, it's possible I might hear it and say to myself, "hey, I could use that one" and download it. What do you-all think?
Xagerado
That is great, its better hear the sound before download.Im on the same situation when I download sounds hehehe
Display Name
It's a great idea. I try to make a quick demo of any sounds I download and put them on Soundcloud.. then I just link to that demo in the review section of the download it pertains to. If it's a sound I make and upload, I like to put it right in the description. It only takes a few extra minutes and the built in USB recorder makes it easy. Null
This would make a lot of sense for the XW uploads as well. Some of the stuff that's been uploaded recently has been pretty weak.
Mike Martin
I would also hope that people start using the the RATING and COMMENT sections.
Joe Muscara
That's a great point, Mike. More feedback means better sounds... erm, I mean user feedback, not audio feedback, of course.
