gblunt99 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Hi Everyone, I use a Casio WK 1350 to record on Garageband, and I very much enjoy the sounds I can get using soundfonts. The WK 1350 had a "midi in" connection on the back, and my USB midi connector connects to that as well as the midi out. For example, in recording House of the Rising Sun, I use a nice Vox Continental soundfont that sounds great in Garageband, and will play out through external speakers connected to the computer. My question is: How can I get the soundfont to play through the keyboard speakers? When I set it to "Local On" all I get it the Casio-designated sound. And yet, in Garageband, it is playing the soundfont. Is there a way to make the keyboard sound like that Vox Continental? Thanks for any light you can shed. Cheers, GB Quote
Brad Saucier Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 GB, In order to do what you're requesting, the WK-1350 would need to have an audio input jack for sending audio from your computer to the WK. The WK-1350 doesn't have an audio input of any kind. Sorry. Quote
