PriviaFan
Hi All, I just hooked up a 17 note pedal board via midi. The PX is split bass left hand, right piano. Sounds are not overlapped but actually split. I hit the octave button on the pedals and dropped it down 1. Perfect...corresponds to the right note. But....here's the problem. The pedals play piano sounds in the low octave....not the appropriate bass sounds for the key pressed. It has to be some MIDI configuration( the pedals transmit on ch1.) but I just can't figure it out. I would rather not use a separate sound module, just one more thing to carry around. Can anyone help? um.. I saved the split to Bank Stage Setting One . So i guess that means it's transmitting on midi 1? I went to midi ch. out in settings and it says ch. 1. Display Name
The PX MIDI transmit is not in play here.. it's all MIDI rcv. . If your pedals are transmitting on CH1 and you want it to play a bass sound you need to set your split up so the bass is in zone 1 and the piano is in zone 2. Hope this helps!
