sizemore2000
I'm coming from a Roland Juno to the Privia PX 5s, and I feel confident enough to use it in my gig Sat night. I had a couple of intros I had recorded on a USB stick on my Roland so I could play fiddle on top of it. I recorded one intro on the stick using the Audio Recording button. It was labeled Track 00. I tried to change the name to the song title, and it saI'd read only. I inserted the usb stick into the computer and changed the name of it just fine. I then re inserted the stick in the casio, and the Audio Record button won't show the track with the changed name, but will still play track 00. How do I play the wav files off the usb stick? sizemore2000
Think I'll try a full format of the disk first. I just read it should be reading the wav files, but it is not.
D7KPX5S
You might try the facebook page, lots of folks there daily and perhaps someone could help you quickly.
Solution Brad Saucier Posted January 8, 2015 Solution Share Posted January 8, 2015 The PX-5s will play WAV files in 44.1khz 16 bit format. The files must be named..... TAKE00.WAVTAKE01.WAVTAKE02.WAVetc....etc. The files must be place in the MUSICDAT folder on the thumb drive.
