Wingedspur
When I power on my PX-5S, it displays an errror message "Error! No Media" and all the lights are flashing. Manual says to press Exit to clear an error message but this has no effect. There is no flash drive inserted, and I have not used the flash drive in quite some time. I can't get past this state, so the keyboard is now a paperweight. Please help!
Joe Muscara
Get firmware 1.13 on a USB flash drive and follow the firmware update procedure. You can find the steps elsewhere on this forum.
Solution Brad Saucier Posted September 3, 2015 Solution Share Posted September 3, 2015 This ^^^^. The firmware update corrects this issue. Your PX-5s must not have been on the latest version 1.13. Once updated, this will never happen again. Go here and download the firmware....http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=436 Unzip the file and place it on a FAT32 formatted flash drive, not in any folder. With the PX-5s power OFF, plug the flash drive into the PX-5s. Now power ON the PX-5s. It will automatically install the update and return to normal.
