bogie120
I have a WK6500 connected to an external amp. Is there any way to raise the volume of the rhythm (drums) without raising the volume of the rest of the keys?
Brad Saucier
Best way is to lower the volume of the tones you are playing rather than boost the rhythm volume. Do this with the mixer function. Detailed instructions are here: http://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/008/CTK6000_WK6500_EN.pdf#page=42 Accompaniment volume is done here. Press function>volume>accomp vol>adjust. bogie120
Makes sense. I'll give it a try when I get back (hopefully in a few days). Thanks for the input!
bogie120
I did manage to get the drums a little louder, but found that lowering the volume of the tones can only be done using sequencer. But you have at least shown me a direction to investigatge! Thanks,.
Brad Saucier
Tone volume: Press mixer>choose mixer part# that has the tone you want (Up1 or Up2) by scrolling left/right with the arrow buttons>scroll down to volume using up/down arrow buttons>adjust volume with data wheel. - T -
Bogie See this discussion that we have been having with another user on this matter over the past couple of days. It does work for live play and live play with accompaniment. You just need to ignore the references to the sliders as your WK-6500 does not have them, and for you, the chart that shows the various parts assigned to the different Mixer channels is on Page 39 of the manual. As with Fred, it is the "A" channels in which you are interested, not the "B" channels - those are primarily under control of the sequencer: http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/7970-wk7500-change-volume-on-layer-part/ Regards, Ted
