showkster
Okay . . . I set up the keyboard with a split up at the 3rd Cso that I'd have piano below, and then couldreach up there for the steel drums. I lowered the steel drums 2 octaves so it wouldbe normal although played in the upper 2 octaves. I then saved the setup to bank 2, #2.Works perfectly. EXCEPT It won't come out of that range. When I then return to the normal piano, it's alltransposed two octabes LOWER and I cannotget out of it. Have to turn the keyboard OFFand back on to reset. ???? Brad Saucier
Are you changing back to a normal piano registration? or just changing the tone?
Vorbis
If you edit the tone and do not save it as a user tone, then the change you made is saved to the primary tone. When you save to a user tone, you can call that saved tone up to split or layer and not disturb the primary tone. WK7500CTK900Hammond A100Leslie 145. showkster
I did save it to the user tones, bank 2 #2 . . . I'm playing in it, when done, I go punch the "Piano" regular tone button . . . but when I do, that tone is 3 octaves low, like the steel drums I set up for the user tone. it's like the User Tone (#2#2) does not quit the octave shift when I select another sound. :-( Are you changing back to a normal piano registration? or just changing the tone? Not sure I know what you're asking... I press the "Piano" button, or Organ or any of the pre-set category buttons.
Vorbis
Saving to Bank 2 - 2 is a registration save. A tone save is accomplished by saving to User Tones. When you recall a registration, it brings up a whole list of saved settings that are listed in the manual. Those registration settings will include DSP effects, tones selected, any layering or keyboard splits along with rhythems selected and mixer settings. In addition, if you have selected the keyboard to reboot into last state when powering on, it will remember all those settings saved in your registration. I suspect you do not have the keyboard set up to save your settings when shutting the keyboard off and you are in effect resetting the keyboard to the default settings when powering it back on. . showkster
Okay ... in order for the keyboard to return to normal tuning, rather than selecting a new "Tone" (pressing on "Piano" up under "Tones") I would need to somehow cancel out of the current BANK by doing what? Pressing another bank? (Yes, powering down and back up was the only way to get back to normal piano.)
Brad Saucier
Yes. Select another registration that will return the mixer settings to default.
