  1. I have done this with a Samsung S10 and iPad Pro. No idea what could be the problem other than the lead. Can you connect to a pc to check its not the PX at fault?
  2. Thanks, seems strange that there was no lag at first but only one channel. Oh well, will scrap that plan 😀
  3. Got a PXS1000 today and decided to experiment with it. First I connected an iPad Pro and it triggered the app (tried Korg Module first). So I tried connecting Bluetooth audio as the Pro doesnt have audio out. It worked but I only got audio on the left channel. I connected my Roland FA06 to the line in and it also played through the left side. Fearing I got a faulty unit, i restarted the PX and the audio was fixed from the Roland but the bluetooth lag from the iPad was so bad as to be unusable, literally half a second delay. So, is this to be expected using this setup? Was hoping the PX would work with the ipad as a self contained little set up but not with this lag.
  4. Got my pxs1000 today and connected to ipad pro with a generic usb b (printer) to USB C cable. Worked perfect but im getting terrible bluetooth audio lag.
  5. Best that I describe the set up first. I have PX-5S as a master keyboard which I have connected to my Macbook via USB. I want to use the internal arpeggiation of some tracks but I want them to sync with Logic so I set Clock to Slave at which point the arpeggiators stop playing I just hear the sound on one track. I had this problem last year and solved it somehow but I can come back to that later. Now, I have my Korg Volca Beats attached to the PX's Midi Out and then I have three other Volcas all sync'd to each other via CV. All the Volcas work fine....if I have the PX Sync mode set to Master as it follows the internal clock of the PX. However, if I set Sync to Slave, the Volca drops back to whatever tempo it has set on the unit and everything is out of sync. I set Midi Out to USB, USB Out to Key, turned on Midi In Enable and enabled USB In. Now all those settings seem to make sense to me but no sync. So in a nutshell, how do I get the PX-5S to transit midi clock information received via USB out through the MIDI out port? Ideally while still being able to use the PX as a keyboard to input notes into Logic. Thanks in advance.
  6. You know what, i think they did. Finally found a day to do something not work related so I am going to connect it all up; mac, ipad, px, speakers, and see what it can do...will try the editor and new sound packs too. Thanks for the help.
  7. Ebonivor, ironically that is my post on Facebook (paul woodward) and I solved it the same way you did but I used an el cheapo midi to usb adaptor i bought off eBay years ago. Brad is right when he says good old MIDI is still the best way, i had a noticeable lag playing the iPad through the USB connector but none through the midi/usb. It has actually solved another problem I would have had when I eventually connect to Logic on my macbook....i need the USB to drive logic and, given Midi will work independently of the USB, i can control the iPad at the same time. Brilliant.
  8. Thanks for replying...are you saying you get a similar hum when inserting a USB stick. I cannot eliminate the hum whatever combination of inputs, cables etc. i use. Gonna have to reconsider the use of iPad with the board unless there is a fix that doesnt involve buying more equipment...or return the board.
  9. Mentioned this over on the facebook page. If I connect my ipad air to any of the audio inputs on the PX (1/8" or both 1/4") the audio from the iPad is crystal clear with no noise or distortion. However, if I connect the iPad to the PX via the camera connection kit (official) there is a noticable hum/buzz which is very off putting. I,had to drop the external audio volume to less than 50 just to bear it but anything above 1 and its noticable. Another user has confirmed the same issues so I dont think its specific to my board...which was brand new today. I turned off high resolution midi but that didnt help. Any ideas how to fix it?
