moogy
How do you know what tones are in a hex, without going through the time consuming process figuring it out on the fly? Also is there a rule of thumb on how you go about editing, and working with Hex layers. Thanks.
Display Name
For hexlayers, I really like using the PC/MAC data editor. It really makes it easy to see and adjust all the tones and parameters all at once.
moogy
Is there a way to adjust similar parameters all at once within a Hex?
Brad Saucier
Yes. If you are using the data editor, the green "S" button that looks like a solo button is actually a "sync" button that locks layers of a hex tone together where you can adjust parameters of multiple layers at once. Editing on the keyboard, you can back up 1 step from layer 1 and it will go to all layers where it functions much the same where all layers can be adjusted at once. aron
There are weird problems I am having with the Data Editor. Where the data editor was "out of sync" with the current state of the board. I haven't tracked it down, but when I saved the stage setting and sent it back to the board, it sounded different.
