Hanmarie219
Our keyboard got factory reset & now I can't get any pads to work when plugged into our board?? I want Grand Piano over Warm Pad. How do I change the presets to what I want and why can't I find 'warm pad'
Brad Saucier
Have you tried other stage settings already setup with a pad sound? Pad sounds are usually in zone 2.
Hanmarie219
They all say ' No Assign'
Brad Saucier
We need some more details. What have you tried so far?
Hanmarie219
Tried restarting. Tried the different zones. Can't figure out why the sliders work on a few combinations but not the rest OR when plugged into our board.

Brad Saucier
Nothing is wrong with your PX-5S. It's just not doing what you expect it to do. Every stage setting is completely editable and that includes what the sliders do and what sounds are used in which zones. That is why the sliders do different things in each stage setting. Sometimes theybare not assigned to anything at all. But you can change that. Do you or anyone there remember the name of the stage setting that gave you the setup you want? The one before the reset? It may be one downloaded from the forums. If not, it is easy to recreate what you need with some editing. Everything is done by pressing edit>stage setting. Next time I look at my PX-5S I can tell you which stage setting is close to what you need. It is easiest to start with one that is nearest the desired setup.
