ksentinel
Hey everyone, So i recently got the PX5S about three weeks ago. Since then its been amazing, working perfectly. However... I encountered a problem, i was using it as a controller for mainstage and mainstage happened to crash during operation. Since then all my sounds have been plagued with this annoying reverby tremelo sound, this affects ALL my patches (I think its from one of the sounds from mainstage the organ B3 tremelo or something like that). If i Initialize all it helps to clear this problem, but when I turn the piano back on its there again. Even tried the firmware update, its still here, I don't want to have to clear my stage settings every time i switch on the piano just so it wont add an annoying effect to my sounds i don't want. Please Help! Thanks all
Display Name
Wow - that is strange. Let's start with the obvious.. and I apologize if this seems like a no-brainer.. but is the modulation wheel all the way down?
ksentinel
Idiot moment. I didn't realize that the mod wheel was responsible. Spot on suggestion, thanks scott!

jimmyjames
I've actually disabled the mod wheel on my grand piano patches in case I hit it by mistake....which I do on occasion when I am moving the adjacent knob or slider for example. Display Name
Yes even aggressive playing can nudge the mod wheel up... One nice thing.. well maybe the ONLY nice thing.. about Roland's pitch/mod "stick" is you can't accidentally get stuck in "mod mode". Brad Saucier
Press edit>stage setting>common edit>modulation>target>no assign. Exit out to main screen and write the stage setting.
