Stephan Williams
I've recently moved from using windows xp pro to windows 7 and I can't find drivers for the PX-555R keyboard anywhere. Has anyone here have any idea if the original drivers supplied on the installation cd will work? A friend of mine who is installing my new DAW on my new computer has asked me to source new drivers. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Brad Saucier
Casio's website is the home of drivers for their products. http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=20 To choose your Win 7 driver correctly, you'll need to know whether you have 32 bit or 64 bit windows. 32 bit. http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=75 64 bit. http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=72
Stephan Williams
Thanks, Brad, but the PX-555R isn't listed on their page. The closest model # I could find was the PX-575R. Any idea if the driver's designed for it would work for mine?
Display Name
Thanks, Brad, but the PX-555R isn't listed on their page. The closest model # I could find was the PX-575R. Any idea if the driver's designed for it would work for mine? I want to say the PX-400 and PX-555 are the same model so that driver should work.
Brad Saucier
It will work. Basically, you have one choice. This is the only Win7 keyboard driver made by Casio. And as Scott said...the 400R is listed. This model is covered in one manual together with the 555R. So yea...the same.
Stephan Williams
Thank you both for your advice. I'm taking it. I'll let you know how it turns out tomorrow when we load the changes.
