Thanks! Its an inexpensive Nektar. It has a polarity switch and range trim pot. Pretty standard. It works in that it calibrates fine but only acts as volume. Im thinking that since there is a pedal1 setting and a pedal2 maybe its like Yamaha where there are 2 plugs besides sustain and p1 is volume and p2 is expression. You assign CC for each patch. Maybe thats it? Usually I just assign a global CC but I dont see how on this keyboard. Regarding this pedal, it works as expression on every keyboard I have: Korg, Yamaha, Roland and my various controllers. Im sure its a setting, global or per instrument, likely as Pdl2 as expression. I also have Yamaha, Korg, Roland and Moog pedals that I have not tried yet but they all work the same way on everthing else. I am pretty sure its just setting it up correctly as global and/or instrument function (lfo, reso, filter, mod, etc.). I could try the others but my gut tells me that configuring the 3000 is not as simple as the other brands. Likely it is easier on the 5000 because of the mod button. I need to control mod depth, cutoff, rotary so a toggle wont do it. There has got to be a way, especially because the midi implementation is there.
