  1. Is this for the PX-5S? Shouldn't it be in the PX-5S forum? We also have a downloads section for files.
  2. I'm sorry to hear this. Unfortunately it's not something we can solve on the forums. Since it is new, I would contact the seller you purchased it from for assistance. They should help you arrange a solution, either by repairs or exchange.
  3. Place the ZAL file in the MUSICDAT folder on a USB flash drive. Press media>load>all data to install.
  4. Is this a new purchase? If so, please contact the seller for assistance.
  5. A very low level of white noise is normal. It should not increase or decrease with volume knob adjustments. Normally you should not hear the noise until you place your ears close to the speakers on the keyboard.
  6. Okay. It definitely shouldn't be doing that. Are you within the 3 year warranty period? Unfortunately it sounds like a repair issue.
  7. To be clear, is this occuring while playing tones, like one note will be louder than others, or is it all notes at the same time increasing volume?
  8. The first step is to familiarize a process where you can manually do everything you want to do in real time. You can use registration memory to quickly change rhythm selections, and then use the rhythm start/stop, intro, ending, and fill buttons, to control how the rhythm plays. Once you can manually play everything in real time, you can use the song sequencer system track to record all of your button presses for automated playback
  9. It's under warranty if it's new. Main volume knob not responding is a warranty claim.
  10. You may also look at the CDP-S360. It's a lower price than Privia model but still has the weighted keys. The sounds are equivalent to a CTX model.
  11. Here is some help information for FL Studio regarding selecting a USB MIDI device. You should find "CASIO USB MIDI" show up in the MIDI input settings box shown on that page. For any MIDI software you want to use (like FL Studio) you'll always find a MIDI input settings dialogue like that.
  12. Unfortunately all of the hammer action models are 88 keys.
  13. Do you mean weighted hammer action 61 keys?
  14. The CT-X5000 is a universal class compliant USB MIDI controller. It is plug and play. Windows 11 supports this and should continue to do so in all future versions. Welcome to the forums.
  15. The cable has to be capable of transferring data. Some of them are for charging devices only.
  16. It is not possible to record from external MIDI sources. A computer can however, which creates a standard MIDI file.
  17. The LK-S450 can play standard MIDI files stored in the MUSICDAT folder of a USB flash drive connected to the keyboard. MIDI files stored on the flash drive are assigned number 369 and higher. Press the SONG button to access them. These MIDI files can also be loaded into keyboard memory. Use the MENU>MEDIA>SONG>>USER SONG>LOAD function. Keyboard storage capacity is 200 songs, stored in the song bank as numbers 161-360.
  18. Well, that's sadness. The top panel is a painted plastic, a subtle metallic pearl type paint. I wonder if there's a product out there for restoring yellowed plastics like this.
  19. Click the download button. They are there.
  20. Only CTX tones are compatible. The sound architecture is different among different series of keyboards.
  21. I didn't edit the tones at all. Everything is default.
