  1. Your computer is introducing latency. This is caused usually by the audio driver your software is using. Be sure to change the driver FL studio is using to an ASIO driver.
  2. Okay, update to my previous post. Expanding on the fact that Casio USB is for MIDI only, not audio. I checked Audacity again since I recall some limited MIDI support was added a few years ago. Audacity MIDI support is limited to playing a MIDI file and very basic editing. This is why you can't select your Casio as an input device. Audacity won't record MIDI. Your Casio can be used as a MIDI sound source with Audacity if you open preferences and select the MIDI tab, and select CASIO USB MIDI as the device. Now for DarkWave. That software has an interesting workflow. It supports MIDI input and output. In order to do that, you first have to create a MIDI input in the studio tab by right clicking and selecting native>es MIDI input. You may have click the drop down arrow and select show custom GUI. You'll see 2 drop down boxes. The top box is where you select Casio USB MIDI as input. That's as far I can go with directions, but it shows it does work.
  3. @Gr3yWolf How is you internet connection? Is it slow? Your post duplicated itself 3 times. I hid the other 2 to keep things tidy.
  4. See page EN-57 of the owners manual for details. Accompaniment volume is in the function menu under accompaniment.
  5. A mic in the middle of a real piano will pick up more reflections of sound from things not near the mic and less reflections for things closer. This would require an early reflection style effect that can be applied to some notes more than others. There's more to it than just grading the volume level of the keys, which can be done using amp key follow in a hex layer tone. Casio used somewhere around 24 microphones on the piano sampled, so pretty much every note is close mic sound. Perhaps there's a way to blend together a couple of zones and hex layers, one with more early reflection DSP than the others, as well as some volume grading. Don't forget EQ tweaks as well.
  6. @Ang Your Casio USB connection is for MIDI only, not audio. Audacity does not support MIDI. It is strictly an audio editor. I'm not familiar with Darkwave, but a quick look online seems to indicate it does support MIDI. I'll download that software later and check it out.
  7. Does it sound like a key is triggering at full velocity? It may be some dirt under that particular key in the sensor system. You could try blowing some air between the keys. That's always a good first step since it's so simple to do.
  8. Select the rhythm, hold down the record/stop button until "rhy name" appears, cursor left until "rhy clr" appears, press enter.
  9. Or tape the knob down. It's not possible to bypass it. Imagine what would happen if it could be, and someone forgot or didn't know it was bypassed. 😳
  10. It should. Auto resume saves most settings.
  11. Depending on which model, it will be accessed differently, but you'll find a function called auto resume. Turn that on.
  12. Yes, it is possible to edit the file and change the program change data for each track. The CT-X appendix has a tone list with the appropriate bank and program change data needed. Patch scripts make selecting tones even easier and are available for a number of popular software editors. https://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=2306
  13. Check your power supply. Does it have batteries installed? Try it with batteries or move the AC adapter to another outlet.
  14. That is not possible. MIDI files can't be edited by the CT-X series. MIDI files stream "live" from a flash drive.
  15. Adjusting touch sensitivity to lighter settings will allow you to reach brighter and louder sound with less effort.
  16. Unfortunately your PX-150 will need servicing by a technician.
  17. Yes, all modern Casio keyboards are plug and play MIDI controllers on most any modern operating system.
  18. That is not possible. It is a good suggestion for future models. The best solution is to use a metronome app on your phone. As far as recording MIDI and audio at the same time, you can simply record MIDI first, then play that recording back while using the audio recorder to record playback.
  19. Can one of you post a video demonstrating the differences in sound?
  20. @fcw3 @Gr3yWolf Guys, I'm just curious. Have you owned another digital piano before the PX-S3000?
  21. It is not possible. The PX-5S does not have sample expansion memory. What are you looking to add?
  22. Unfortunately my WK-1250 took a swim in salt water and corroded, so it doesn't boot up anymore where I can check it out. However, I think I remember that pitch set LFO. If I recall correctly, it's basically just a square wave pitch LFO with the depth of pitch equaling an octave. On the WK-1200/1250/1300/1350 series, amp and pitch envelopes were preset. A wild array of preset pitch envelopes are in the "others" category. They can be pretty fun to experiment with. If you can upload an audio clip as Mike mentioned, that would help tremendously. Attaching a shot of the WK-1200/1250 front panel graphics depicting the preset envelopes....
  23. Use the links on the following page. They are official Casio pages and are safe.
