  1. Can you attach the file here?
  2. DSP parameter control is not one of the assignable functions for a pedal on the PX-S3000. It can be done with the knobs by using the DSP parameter 'knob set'.
  3. It is dynamic range, the difference between the quietest sound and the loudest sound it can produce. High dynamic range from a velocity sensitive piano tone will have a lower average sound pressure level than a narrow dynamic range source like the non-velocity sensitive organ tones. The concert grand tones on Casio digital pianos are the widest dynamic range tones. If you were to hold down the sustain pedal on a piano tone and pound out the largest and loudest passage of music you can muster, the level would get quite loud.
  4. I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Are you asking to octave shift a tone when recording a rhythm?
  5. It's not possible to name the 10 user songs in keyboard memory. Each song has a preset title by number. However, the songs can be named when they're saved to USB flash drive. When saved files on USB are reloaded, they'll revert back to the user song numbers.
  6. Do you mean CDP-S150? Are you using an Apple brand lightning to USB camera adapter?

The MIDI recorder only records internally generated MIDI events. It does not record audio. You can use the built-in audio recorder to record a stereo WAV file directly to USB flash drive.
  8. It is in the downloads section under Casio official CT-X series files. https://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/files/category/59-ct-x-series/
  9. The correct driver has already been installed automatically. This is evident by CASIO USB-MIDI listed as an output and input. The Casio should not need any further adjustments to work. Your software may need further configuration however.
  10. Use a standard USB printer cable to connect it to your computer. Your CDP-130 will then show up as a Casio USB MIDI device in any software that can work with MIDI devices.
  11. If you're in song mode and simply open the mixer, without entering song edit mode by pressing and holding the edit button, the mixer will work differently than it does in song edit mode. Make sure you're pressing and holding the edit button before going to the mixer. As far as muting parts, you should be able to use the mixer for that as well.
  12. Sometimes dirt can get in the button area and cause that, or transporting the keyboard can shift things around just enough to make it feel different. More than likely it will be fine.
  13. @orlando The PX-120 does not have a USB port. Casio drivers are only for certain early Casio instruments with USB ports. Any drivers would be for the MIDI to USB adapter you are using. You will need to consult the manufacturer of that adapter for information on installation requirements.
  14. Bar height will not change while adjusting the mixer in song edit mode, but the volume changes should be heard and saved. I would double check that you're in the correct mixer section for the track you're adjusting.
  15. SP-33 is not compatible with the PX-S series. SP-34 is the only compatible pedal unit. PX-S series also requires the CS-68 stand, since the dimensions are much slimmer.
  16. Buttons 2 and 5 are being used as cursor keys up and down in step 5. Using those keys in step 5 will cycle through all of the menu options shown in the chart under step 5. Navigate with those button until the screen reads volume, then proceed to step 6.
  17. Internet is not required to use Chordana.
  18. Open the CT-X3000/5000 appendix in a PDF viewer. Type "snap" in the search box. Tone 784, D6 note is the first result for finger snap. Several other drum kits have finger snaps and clap samples.
  19. The rectangle indicates the location of the password on your CT-X700/800 control panel.
  20. I'd like to clarify some things for those shopping among CT-X models, since they do vary in features. I'd like us to be a little more clear which CT-X models are being discussed, as the lower priced models do no reflect what the higher priced CT-X models offer. CT-X3000 and CT-X5000 have mixer capabilities, allowing fine tuning of volume levels, effects send levels, pan, etc. You can disable auto power off on all CT-X models. Press the function button>Other>AutoOff>...turn this off. On CT-X700/800, you can store your favorite default setup as registration 1 bank 1. This will bring up your settings after each power up. On CT-X3000/5000, an additional auto resume function saves current setup information for power down. CT-X3000/5000 have tone editing functions with user tone memory. CT-X3000/5000 have full 16 track+17th system track MIDI recorders, with detailed editing functions, including event editing and step recording.
  21. Roland pedals are not compatible. You'll need a normally open switch type pedal, or a switchable pedal. I recommend Casio SP-3 or SP-20.
  22. It is not possible to change the placeholder tones that are heard whenever a rhythm is not playing. Possibly what you're looking to do is create a user rhythm with an intro that is just a chord, using the pattern sequencer.
  23. CSR format files are only compatible with your PX-160. The file transfer function is intended as a system to store user song files on your computer for later reloading into your PX-160. To record songs that are playable on other devices, you can use third party audio or MIDI recording software on your computer.
