  1. CTK-6250 does not have sample expansion memory. TN7 files do not contain samples.
  2. Rock organ preset tones will be a good one to try.
  3. Generally, Casio keyboard user manuals will tell you if specific Casio software is available for that model. If there is no mention of software, there is none available. If there is mention of software, the manual should mention the name of the software, or some clue like "wk3-20en.exe".
  4. Thank you for the video. That was very useful. You used the knob to change system track to solo track. Do not do that. Solo track is only capable of recording one tone per track. Leave it on the system track. System track is for recording auto accompaniment.
  5. Perhaps I missed it, but have you tried running the piano with local control turned on? Does your issue only occur with local off? It might help add one more clue to the mystery.
  6. This list is not comprehensive, but it will give an overall impression of the differences. It is a comparison of specs listed in the user manuals and web pages for each one. PX-S6000 removes the following features found on the PX-S5000: Music Library Songs, 60 Preset, 10 User PX-S6000 adds the following: Premium Case Design Compatible with CS-90 Wooden Stand 350 Preset Tones (PX-S5000 - 22 tones total) 256 Note Polyphony (PX-S5000 - 196 Note) Piano Position Speaker Optimization 8 Hall Simulator Types (PX-S5000 - 4) 3 Surround Simulator Types (PX-S5000 - 2) DSP, Built Into Each Tone + 100 Additional DSP Presets, All Editable 12 Chorus Types (PX-S5000 - 4) +12 to -12 Adjustable Brilliance (PX-S5000: +3 to -3) Mixer - Volume, Pan, Hall/Reverb Send and Return, Chorus Send 5 Song - 30k Note Per Song MIDI Recorder Capacity (PX-S5000: 1 Song, 10k Note Capacity) Arpeggiator - 50 Types Metronome Drum Patterns - 20 Types Registration Memory Function - 96 Setups Total (for storing edited DSP, edited tones, and more) Expression/Assignable Pedal Input Pitch Bender Wheel 2 Assignable Function Knobs 1 Assignable Function Button 1 Standard Size Headphone Jack + 1 Mini Phone Jack (PX-S5000 - 2 Mini Phone Jacks) 470 Ohm Line Output (PX-S5000 - 600 Ohm) Mic Input Jack with Effects Resources: PX-S5000 Manual PX-S5000 Page PX-S6000 Manual PX-S6000 Page CS-90 Page
  7. I was browsing YouTube and noticed a comment concerning the PX-S6000. They understood the differences between the 5000 and 7000, but did not understand why the 6000 existed other than a different case design. In another topic on this forum, I've covered the differences between a 6000 and 7000. This time I'll compare the 5000 and 6000.
  8. The Casio wonders never cease. The other day someone in the Facebook group dug up an ultra rare model never seen in the US, the Casio Cosmotone CST-2000 organ. Look up that one if you missed it.
  9. Unfortunately CDP-S100 does not support triple pedal units. It doesn't have an input port to connect one.
  10. That's a good way to do it. Others have used spreadsheet charts printed on paper with the registration names. Some have uploaded templates for other models. I don't recall one specifically made for the 4x24 bank registration configuration, but there is the one below you may be able to modify for such. https://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/files/file/1272-ct-x-registration-table/
  11. There is a one year warranty on CT-X700. If it's within warranty period, I would take that route for repairs.
  12. Stage settings can store unique tones within their own memory structure. Those tones only exist within that stage setting. You can export the tone for use in another stage setting by pressing write>tone and proceeding to store in an empty user tone area.
  13. Hi Rich. Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately registration naming is not possible.
  14. These use flash memory, so they don't have a battery like many older products did.
  15. Does the sound also occur when listening through headphones?
  16. Hi Adele. Can you be more specific? I can give instructions anywhere you may have issues.
  17. Unfortunately it sounds like the main board needs replacing, and it appears all of the boards for these are out of stock here.. You could try a few more power cycles. You may get lucky.
  18. Repairs by a technician to restore button operation.
  19. Welcome to the forums. To begin, we should make sure you are playing the chord just before the beat rather than slightly after the beat. Can you confirm this? Is this your first scaled hammer action piano?
  20. Connect the keyboard to your device with the USB cable. Download Casio Music Space app. Open the app. If the phone and cable are compatible, the app will connect to Casio USB MIDI automatically. A brief message to confirm will appear.
  21. Turn on the arpeggiator. Press and hold the arpeggio button and change "target: arpeggio" to "target: phrase".
  22. It's possible to play a phrase by pressing a key. The arpeggiator in each zone can be configured to play a phrase. It's not possible to assign a different phrase to each key within a zone. It's also not possible trigger a MIDI or audio file from USB with the keys.
  23. This is borderline different topic, but Celviano Grand Hybrid GP series uses full length wood keys. As far as portable digital pianos, PX-S5000, S6000, S7000 uses hybrid wood and resin keys.
  24. I don't have any other ideas. If you can manage to reproduce it, I can help pass it along to Casio for review. If you can create a MIDI file which causes it, that might help a lot.
  25. Unfortunately no. It's exclusive to the 7000 as a package.
