As I've been asking for differnce on Sound's Quality which led to the HEX Layer then searched on AIX and AI5s comparisonm i've seen many awesome existing threads and im reallt sorry to have made doubling but i have found nice stuff. However i've heard Brad's Clip Sound between ctx-5000 & Privia PX, i was amazed about the ctx sound which convinced me to adore it more without any regrets. Also i've seen the fantastic Youtube Video with Mike Martin (where thought it was Brad in person but still i know that both of u are from a great Casio Team and i dont underestimate both of ur talents. Regardless, Silviano mentionned that CTX has great DSP and it watched with Martin's Video. One word, i was so amazed about what can do DSP which i never knew its feature- qnd I think i found that i wanted to have by acquiring that HEX Layer Feature at all cost, but figured out that with a great DSP in one Tone, then combined with 4 Layers, I think i can acchieve that 6 Layers Feature Quality. Beside this, i was just so amazed by the Realistic Sound of the CTX through AIX Engine and i think thats what i wanted to get. On the other hand i see the PX Potential too but I think that in my case i dont go for Upgrading and crush ;qny Bucks for it while im just decent Pianist and there's so much to do with CTX that i still need to discover and test So far, im just so satisfied with DSP Nevertheless, i saw Martin's Video on CTX5000 showing DSP and explaining roughly how it should be used to be set in right way, but i got confused with the Number he chose on DSP Edit, coz seen that mostly were at 800s and meanwhile he also loaded his Pad and Tones Instrument Creationsm so i got confused with selecting the Right DSP Value for it....and he also mentionned that in Casio Music Forum u could download those DSP creations and use on ur Tones and Songs, but got no idea where to find them as im still looking. Nevertheless, he also created User Tone through Functions and barely understand what those Attk, delay, cutoff, do and how to set them up in good way like u want. I sthere some video on how to experiment, test those Features ? and something about DSP as well ?One more thing about DSP, if understand well, yu can set it in a Tone being layered, then u can then u can layer in 4 Layers (u1&2; L1&2), right ? Beside the fact of having only 4 Layers instead of 6, i don't see a very Big difference, yes theres ofc in richer Deepness, but to be honnest, i was really amazed with a Tone with DSP layered with MelwString was awesome, coz it gave that Synth Spacial Sound Deepness Effect-like Sountrack and this is the Thing i was looking for . Also, it might not 6 Layers, but with the Realistic DSP settled into 4 Layers, imo I think it has a betterQuality sound than a 6 or 8 Layered Artificial Synth Sound... Also, other point about the Plastic Keys that isnt Ebony (or Real GrandPiano), since i changed the Touch Key from 3 to 4, it gave that aspect of it. Again, with the Sound affected to the Touch is Amazing and i was poly much convinced that it was a Real GrandPiano. About Brad's SoundCloud Clip in testing Piano Tones between CTX5000 verses Privia PX, where obviously that 1st part was the CTX, i was wandering which Tone it was, because im so amazed to find it back and to use it in my Composing. Brad, what was that Piano Tone u used for ur Testing ? Just feel free to let me know about those willing features i wanted to know Thanks you all !

Ok, i see that the CTX doesnt have that HEX Layer feature, but could it be working with its potential ? I mean if it had 4 layers, could it make somekind of HEX layer but less Rich and be still good ? As for DSP, Im clueless, so i’ll’search on this... Then’ u mentioned MZ-X and PX-560, they both have the same LCD Screen and format, so i’cant distinguish which one is better than the other, as they both have HEX Layers. However, i wont get bored already to search and buying any of those 2 models’ because im not a Pro Composer/Writer to make new 6 layers sounds....but if the CTX is still capable to do some similar HEX Layers with just 4 or 5 layers and produce quite nice Outcome,’i wont look any further, tbh So juet oetnme know Thanks

Ho thanks for cheering me up and targetting me the little different details, so that everything is all bright and clear ! Okay, for the appearance and keyboard’s style, the PX is rather a "portable Synth" (like ctx5000) that’s been built with improved upgrades, so that it has the Feeling touch and physical appearance of a UpRight Piano ; also, the "metal" to give the impression of Heavy Hammered Keys ! And for that feature, "they" said to be having some Ebony material, when i said the unappropriate "wood" term, but in fact as u said, it’s the Metal Counterweight system of Hammering and the "real wood or Ebony" which is the Resine Mat that gives a very close aspect of Ebony/Ivory texture, on the HighRange PX-S Models which are real Digital Pianos, if i’can recall that. Also, i can say now is, as it was done on the CT-X and now the PX, they built the keyboard "cheap" and played between the Key "Touch" and the "Sound" for making them look like Real GrandPiano. Now, since i own the Ct-X5000, I understand this "combo" action mentionned above and thats fantastic as im glad to have this keyboard, indeed ! Now, for the Sound, u well-explained me that the PX has a great Piano sound which im amazed. is it possible to reproduce that similar sound’s aspect (AIR),on the CT-X with its AIX ? And for the HEX Layer on the Synth, i assume that there are 6 layers and i’was so stunned with the Sound’s Richness like Yamaha Montage (Modx, Genos, Kronos, DGX etc) that Hans Zimmer’uses for example. Right there, im not sure if im right with my sound perception comparison between Casio and Yamaha, but i really think that PRIVIA PX does that, but if its the same or poly close or better than Yamaha, i dont know. Could u recall me that ? And for the PX’s HEX Layers for SYNTH that the PX has, can the CTX5000 benefit of that Feature ? Not sure, if it could get 6 Layers, but at least with its already existing/present layers, can it make the "similar" deep layered sound for SYNTH’s PX ? OR at least to adapt/improvise a Setup within AIX to reach for the less or the better the HEX’s PX ? Could u tell me if there is a Possibility to do those on the CT-X Series ? Because when buying it, since i heard of the "New" AIX, i thought it would’offer that Sound’s Richness just like PX (and the Yamahanmentionned above) Just wandering as im still learning on CTX keyboard those features that i still ignore or wrongly use, and to be aware on what kind of Potential the Ctx can eprovide, so that i’ll explore deeper their uses and to acchieve it through my above questioned answer ! Ho i see very well now For the global knowledge, i knew it’d be a Stage Piano but with most Basic instrupentn(flute, organ, violin, clavin, ) and without being Arranger ... Damn, i was looking for Privia’s Type...and the more i play with my ctx5000 im feeling guity to play’with some kids’ toy !’and always thought ctx was like Pro’or a PX... Yes it has great AIX sound, but’everything is Plastic and now i understahd why its "fragile toy that needs maintenance coz of clipping noises and all... Ok, i understand that they are both 2 different Worlds, but does PX has great sound, tho ? For PX, Ican imagine that is most likely an"portable" UpRight Piano that does’everything, with "wood" heavy hammered Keys... Any info’on that ? Coz tried to search on Internet for those Comparison reviews, but’sadly found nothing about it... Although, the only thing i saw was, that Privia is more like somekind of Digital Keyboard (upright piano),with 88 keys and Casio ctx5000 is more like 1n Arranger with 61 oeys...but i have’no ideas on Privia PX 560... Does it has just’the Basic few in instruments but mainly related to a Piano with many more sets of "Piano" that a CT-X5000 eoesnt have ? Wanted to knownwh1t does PX 560 do better than CT-X5000 ? Is it a better Allaround Arranger’like CT-X but in a Piano Style ? Is it’like Professional Keyboard like Mirage, Modx and other High-Range Keyboard (which whom u can play the Original Soundtracks movies from Titanic, the Beach, Gladiator, etc ?) and tnat is Cheaper than’the Ones mentionned above (that cost 5,000-10,000$ ?) What’s so’special with this Privia ? Just’wanted to know your’experiences and to avoid internet Reviews, coz tthey say excellent stuff just for the Selling Purpose and nothing else.! Which one is better between those two ? I own the Ctx, and for little while, heard about the Privia and wandering what’s so secial with it ? Is it a "simple" digital piano without Guitars or is it somekind of CTX built into a Piano state (88 keys Upright Piano) Could u describe me roughly the difference between those 2 and what is a Privia ? I’ve been creating a Song (with fav instrument) and at’the moment wantednto’add’a Ryhthm,’ I showed me Err Data Full. I know u need to Space out memory by deleting some elements, obviously few songs, but my question is - Does deleting some User Tones can also help to Free some Space from the Memory - is there a way to check the Song’s Space Capacity in the Casio? Maybe in Function/Setting/system ? So far, i’ve managed to save on Flash and delete few songs .which’worked, and realised how long was my Song...so it was normal to be Full. For Casio’s Memory Capacity, can someone remind me’: - how much it has in Keyboard? - how much it is on an average Song ? - if u can add extra Internal Storage Memory like SD or its just done with FlashDisk Transfering ? I re watched one’of those Tutorial Manual and found another link from some nice guy creating a Song into different parts, but missing the last one, part 4 is unfindable, the final part where u hear’the Result of the’song he smade. Would like’to find it back ! Help me Byw, here's the link of that nice tutorial’he made. But to mention, he’made 2 versions where’on this one is an Electronic/Trans (and other was some Latino or Pop, I think) For me, in Youtube, I can't find Chapter4, the’Final version I’d really appreciate if someone could find it. Thanks Yes, the Registration is just a shortcut Command that gathers and locates the destination of the compounds used for setting the desired Tone. (In other words the 3layered Tone). Ofc, u can’t edit anything in there and doesn’t matter if its in-build’or User Tone. Beside this, this Tone setting will be’on Registry 1 under Bank 1. But if u created other Registrations, I assume that u could Toggle with Wheel Pan or +/-,for selecting the appropriate u want to use during Recording or wplaying, am I right ? However, i’ll stop there and test those things and get back if needed. In meantime, thanks for everything!

Yes, you’re’right, i was thinking the other way around...thought that assign was part of a Tone, but obviously they’are just optional.... Then for Registrations, i had a good guess ! Ok, i can save a layered U2 and L1, but could i include the’User Tone as well, xoz wanted to make a 2 or 3 part Tone. For’example, U1. U2. L1 B#1 WahGT + OvrDrGT B#2 SoloTrmp + SoprSaxo B#3 VoicDoo + ChoirAhh + SyntStrng Can it be possible to be like that ? Registr 1 : Bank 1, 2, 3. Or just Registh 1, 2’3. So i just press button # ?

Thanks clarifying me those 3 features . Although, im trying to understand the language of the Casio’s Function. However, for the 3rd part, i also’simply realised that, for’the simple reason u can changenonoy’what u create (tone), and somehow just like the Solo RecTrk which use a "Single",tone, So the layers are just Default in-built Tones by Default, and are just here as extra option that u can switch on/off. Also, since u set an UP2, LW on the actual Tone u’editing, it sets the same’in any Tone u select or create’in Casio. Figured out, now, but long ago when unboxing Casio and playing First Note, obviously, the Tone (U1 StagPiano U2 MelwStrg1) and whatever other Tone i selected that MlwStrng was always there... However, im looking for a way to Save a 2-3 layered tone, and have it as a shortcut button. (So when playing/recording, its ready to be used,) Would it be on Registration ? Or if not, then’what would it be other options to do that ?

Anyway, i deleted 3x that User tone, in thinking it will delete user tone and the 2 layers, but cant except’that it showed’me NO DATA, so its been deleted and means that Only User tone’can be. Am i correct ? But still not sure what No Data stands for ?

"Channels 801 to 900", reserved for User Tones, i was implying.. Sorry, im havin hard time typing as got new tablet and previous i jad to type it 3x, coz a stupid Bzck-feature shortcut, cancelled’me my writing as i was close to finish.... Oh i’tested right now and sas my mistake I was doing "Edit"/atk/Write. I supposed to Long Press REC/Stop (not the Edit), then ToneName/ToneClr/Enter/sure/Yes ! Then it worked, after double-check 💪 Now i realised that nothing was modified, obviously under "Edit" But discovered another thing, I wanted to Delete the Layers U2 and L1 : because’they system by Default, and looks’like that u cant...nevertheless, Only UserTone or No_name th1t lay on 801-900 can be modified or deleted...ok

That’s great! But im’still struggling with modifying a Tone Actually, ’I know that Replace modifies the Tone from the one’u edit but also the others...and end up with 16 channels coz for each Modifications’is a New’Channel. All I want is just to modify 1 Tone of the specific place I'm on which I exclusively modify without modifying anything else ! Also, I don't know how but managed to insert a Full layered Tone on another Channel on U2. O.O. then it did copies of that... Is there a way to Delete Everything, coz I don't know, it keeps copying things over and over. So far, idk what must to be done ? Need help

Ok, so basically the System Track always comes first and stays as the Song’s Track Core, an then in addition, comes the solo tracks that runs simultaneously from the Start So’if’im correct all those tracks are piled up with each other and they dont just follow a chronological sequence (01--->02--->16) through Time. But System-------------> RecTrk1‐------------> . RecTrk16‐----------> For the Delete, menu, selections,’wheel, Ok I think i start’to’get’the idea Thanks

Ho thanks so much in explaining me a rough summary of the Recording ! I was totaly lost and saw i did the wrong way without basic knowledge. Now i see what i’ve done and isn’t what i wanted. Although, as u suggested, i read those 90-110 pages, but gets more complex as u reach to the End and the Process is rather confusing coz it’s Instructions reading mixed with added technical terms of annotation, where Casio adapts its Method related to Music Production. Also Casio’s Method is rather wacky in Complexity, coz there isnt a Simple way (yes, quick Record with RecSysTrk) but mainly as if u write a Book (intro, development, sidenotes, conclusion etc). So in other words, first, Accomp/rythm, main Song, second parts of Solo melodies, Kick etc... However, im not willing to do all that, for serious Mastering Production Projects, but just to Record a Quick Song’from Scratch for Creating my Song, to modify it if notes’ mistakes (re-record), but to add other instruments, eventhough it was already layered. So far, as i see theres 2 ways for Record, the All in One (RecSysTrk) and the Solo "1by1" (16RecTrk16). Now, im not clear with Solo. Does Solo is a Track that is been recorded from the Start of RecSysTrk or AFTER in Sequences (01RecTrk01, 2, 3....16) ? Or those Solo can be sticked anywhere u want ? >>> just tested the Solo Track and saw that’s been recorded from the Start (of the SysTrk) Now, during the Track selection, i’only saw’those solos RecTrk but not the RecSysTrk, strange tho, maybe i didn’t look carefully...anyway, i’can consider that from the Selection Menu,’there should have been the’sys, then solo. Am i right ? So far, i wanted to ask for Delete, but now i got it, u delete what shows on Screen but wandering few things. When u’re on MltRec01 and do Song Clr, does it delete RecSysTrk or 01RecTrk01 or All RecTrk or Everything ? But also wandering, if u need just to play a single verse of few notes with one’Tone and so on ? Another thing, imagine, u’ve done 5 solo. Can u move RecTrk5 to be at first place ? 05>01>02>03>04 ? Thats quite a massive bunch of questions here, sorry, but the Manual cant humanly elaborate the details’ options as it is rather zooming-Out&In described instruction plus confusing sidenotes here and there... Yes, u cant and i’ll’stick w tetris mode nvm But is there a way to COPY PASTE the Names already s3t by Casio. Like’to’Bring back LWahDstGT and PASTE instead of NO NAME ? Yes, i was testing and seen that Replace, modify what u want but all the ithe Tones Channel. For ex, im’modifying instrument of my U2 on Channel 803, i exit and i see a new file Tone 804 which is duplicate of 803... Is there a way to DELETE the’Whole Tone with its layers ALL AT ONCE ? Like somekind of Select ALL ? Or some Setting where un could Desactivate a New File/Channel, when’u Already Modify one ? About recordings a quick Song. at start, u have MIdRecTrk10 when u Press Once on RECORD/STOP, then appears 16RecTrk16 What does it means ? Same thing with RecSysTrk Im quite’confused, coz one some songs i got’many’pieces spaceout or OverWritten Actually the 16RecTrk16 had 2 pieces at beginning... How does it Work? Hey Thanks ! That was the sort of things i’ve been looking for ! For the camera miscr oscope, heard it but as some Tubular Pen-like pluged with phone ; in Spy movies, u see it when Fbi/Cia uses it ! Now, for Camera module wasn’t sure of what this is, but looks like then SOCELL from Samsung. Is it that sort of thing u meant ? Then, fornmynVisual pbm, it isnt just Small/Big but also a Brightness/Contrast and LCD Color issue. Actually, for me the best display is DarkMode which is Black background and White fonts, Yellow/Green is still Great. For this feature, u get everywhere in Kitchen Appli1nces (-dishwasher, interphone) So im looking for this thing for everyday use and not juztnonoy’ Casio keyboard In the meantime, did some Testing with Casio Display/Contrast, i raised the Value to 14 inside’Dark Room and looks great, but when Lighted-Room its horrible, thats why i stayed Value 11-12 So for this Keyboard its mainly Brightness/Contrast issue, im afraid...and i dont see here a Brightness option, other than "Contrast". Is there anything i can do with this from Casio ? You would be so kind to me if u provide help or support from this Thanks so much in advance !

Experiencing personal visual pbms, and my Casio LCD screen starts to be quite Small. Is there some ways to plug a Tablet or any Displaying Device on Casio that would "Zoom" its LCD screen ? At some point, a bit like the existing software system "SmartViewer" that can cast... Any ideas, even if bit dumbie, always would be useful. Thanks

Ho for Registration Great However, I managed to create 10 Tones, but I did from COPY and turned out to be all in mess, just ATM when "Replace". It surely did on the one i’ve’wanted’while completing Writing. So basically, #801 great, then 801 as base for 802, but when u reached 810, u have a mix of’previous ones, just coz of Replace. >Now I see, I must start Fresh, then’the Casio automatically puts on 801,802 and so on.< Other’mistake, i’ve’been recording nice songs lately, then an hour ago, I did a new one which supposed to benon #10, and didnt’see ive been on #8 when clicking Song Bank...damn it And i’had My FlashDisc ON... But thanks god, I had a first Impro on that #8, the bad version, before Remastering it. Frustratihg, tho.. Ah about this, one question I had already those MldTrkRec01 etc in Flash, if u save songs from Casio with same names., does it Overwrite onto’something and which one will affected ? Ho my Goodness !!! I had it all wrong and thanks for saving me with this OK, if i understood, what I need now is User Tone to Create, then’if i want the "Shortcut", i’can put there my User Tone. But that User Tone, can I layer it with U1, U2, L1 or its only a default Tone that i modify with mixer and etc ? On the other hand, now I understand why a "created" Tone couldn't be "saved" in Registration! jeez And also why I gotten back to default tones with staPiano, Jzzpiano, organ, saxo, galaxia... "it is only saved in a User Tone slot, and then "referred to" in the Registration by its Tone number." OK, but what’this Ton # retranscripted into Registry, under some Bank #1-16 ? Thanks so much as I was so desperate, and stopped going back onto Keyboard so, I must go back to User Tone Creation...I'm gonna do that... Thanks for ur great assistance Mclandy
