  1. Hi All, in the registration mode with split selected it is possible by touching "function" to scroll through and select the left hand tones. I would like to do this for the right hand tones, is this possible and if so how? In anticipation ....thanks ...shep
  2. Thanks Rod ( I assume), problem solved....best wishes...shep
  3. Hi Brad, thanks for your reply. I have tried this and cannot get the result I want. I have frozen the transpose in the control menu. If I transpose the keyboard using transpose button, when I return to the registrations they are all back in the original key? I need all registrations to remain in the same transposition key when I change registrations. What am I doing wrong?....shep
  4. I want to set a global transpose to act on my registrations, so I can change registrations and retain the transposition. This would be most useful when backing singers who wish to sing in various keys and when I wish to use my registrations giving splits and layers. Is this possible ? I have tried to use the freeze function but I can't figure out what it does. I note that the PX 560 has a dedicated transpose button and I assume this is a global function. Any help appreciated.....shep
  5. In the reference section at the end of user guide modules1-4 are mentioned. I can't find what the function of these modules is? I wish to be able to control the speed of the rotary DSP. The knob doesn't allow a certain speed to be maintained. Also I would like to be able to apply brake to the rotary effect using a foot pedal... Any help appreciated....shep
  6. Hi, I can hear it , I will try my keyboard.
  7. Hi All, has anyone used the Music Presets? Seems like a useful inclusion if a description of each preset was available , i.e. , key and what song it is. Some of the presets are obvious but others not. Much to learn with this keyboard.
  8. Hi All, I have my PX-S3000 and find the action and feel is excellent , the compactness perfect, the sounds good. The touch controls are rapid and easy to use with no latency. However, the inbuilt rhythms are "ordinary", the accompaniment control is poor because the keyboard split can't ,(as far as I can see), be given separate midi channels. Normally ( with BK-7M ) I generate accompaniment by using the full chords of the left hand , but the PX-S3000 seems to only operate over the whole keyboard which causes some strange progressions. Am I missing something??? The lack of midi is a nuisance.....but hopefully solvable with a USB B to host device. I will have to continue using my Roland BK-7M module with the PX-S3000 to get good backing rhythms. Inability to write names for user presets is also something that could be addressed with a PX-S5000??? Overall though, I'm very happy with my purchase.....shep

  10. Hi All, still waiting for my Privia PX-S3000 but pre-empting a possible add-on needed. Can anyone recommend an interface to connect the USB type B plug of the Privia to a Roland BK-7M backing module i.e. into the midi in of the module. From a land down under....shep

    PX S3000

Hi Brad, thanks for your information. I will follow up with the links and try questioning Mike...best wishes from a land down under😀
  12. Hi All, had a PX5S but found as a working keyboardist changing tones was slow with sometimes many button pushes needed through the banks. Went to a controller with iGrand Sample Tank etc software, however, I have found the unreliability of software based equipment for live performances frustrating due to latency problems , computer glitches and midi interface problems. Currently I have a PX S3000 on order . Does anyone know many touches needed for quick tone changes live? I do love the advertised light weight and compactness. If tone changes can be managed quickly should be a winner......Shep
  13. Hi All, I am sending a CC "momentary on " message via pedal 2 to enable the rotary effect with Galileo Organ B3. I have the pedal set on DSP 1. Works perfectly on Midi channel 1 however, when I change to channel 2 I get no response, I've tried everything I can think of, so experts help needed. Also just purchased Audiobus for my iPad to run Galileo B3, iGrand, iLectric, iProhet and Sample Tank all simultaneously to expand the sonic capabilities of the PX5s best wishes, shep
  14. Hi Choppin, my idea is to share the load as I change banks often I thought using a knob or slider would be quicker and less wear on the bank button, thanks for help, shep
  15. Hi all, I have trolled the site but can't find an answer to; can I change banks by assigning bank change to a knob or slider? Obviously I'm a new owner of the fab PX5s, cheers shep
