Spmusic
My Celviano AP-650 is almost 3 years old and now the E and F keys below middle C make a very loud vibrating sound when held down. (like a helicopter). I've tried setting the backup to ON but it does no good. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I play my piano every day and this is just painful. I live in Western Washington.
Display Name
Hi and welcome to the Casio Forums. The only thing I can suggest is to try unplugging it for 5-10 minutes and then give it another try. Sometimes cycling the power like this can clear a glitch. I will say, this is a Hail Mary and your piano probably needed servicing. If you need help finding a service provider, let me know.
rodneyara
Hello folks, did you find out how to solve the loud vibrating sound? similar problem here: AP-450. Thank you in advance.
Stephan
I have the same issue. When playing and holding a certain chord, it makes a weird flapping helicopter-like noise. I recorded it: https://youtu.be/USDXEE2MiC0 It does not happen with non-piano sounds, and it does not happen when pressing the keys softly. It is not related to pedals or overall volume. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem, how it could be solved or which part would have to be replaced?
Brad Saucier
Hi Stephan. Your link doesn't work but I've heard something similar to what you describe happen to a couple of other keyboards. In those cases the keyboard needed repair by a shop. Unfortunately there is nothing the user can do to fix it.
amblorechen
Has anybody been able to solve the loud jarring sound on some keys in px-750 and the likes. I was told by a local dealer that its a motherboard issue but cost if replacement is very high. Has anyone tried something like a factory reset successfully? Thank you.
