Tilly
I have noticed there is only a headphone jack socket. My sustain pedal ( SP-3) fits but then the keyboard produces no sound. How can I get my sustain pedal to work? Thank you, Tilly
Brad Saucier
The keyboard has to have a sustain pedal jack in order to use your pedal.
Display Name
^^ THAT ^^ -- If you need a keyboard with a sustain pedal, check out http://CasioMusicGear.com and peruse the keyboards, making sure to check out the specs to see if they have a pedal. If you are looking to do piano-type playing, I highly suggest looking at the Privia models. They have an awesome keyboard feel and piano sound. The entry level is the PX-160 at $500 and they go up from there. If you are on a budget, the Casio CDP-130 is $400 (and sometimes $300 on sale) and is a very good value. And yes, all the Privias and the CDP-130 have sustain pedal inputs!
