I think this was about the time Yamaha was introducing the DX7. This also shows Casio's viability in time-many of these older keyboards are still selling on the used market, some for pretty hefty prices. it took 30 years for some of the other manufacturers to put out controllers with a variety of key sizes-look at the Korg arrangers/micro with smaller keys, the abundance of 25-key controllers and how coveted some of the other manufacturer's auto-arranger keyboards are in the used market.
