Brad Saucier
That is good. You are up to date. Will the keyboard detect chords on the display during normal accompaniment? I can't think of a reason why it would be having issues.
Gregor Lichtenberger
Yes, but only if I have "Auto Chord" turned off and the tone is an organ tone, not the pop piano I selected. When I try to sync it with my drums on "variation 1" there is no sound to the keys I strike with my left hand. I tried to attach a video but it would not attach. Brad Saucier
If possible, use something like YouTube as your video host. This forum does not handle large files well, such as a video. Note that a chord pad does not record tones. It records system exclusive messages that tells auto accompaniment which chords to play, and at what time. During recording, everything except accompaniment should be turned off, such as auto chord. This is likely where the issue has been. Once your chord pad is recorded, you can use the pad to tell a rhythm what chord progression you want it to play, rather than input the chords yourself in real-time in the traditional way. It's pretty clever what Casio did. I don't recall another keyboard with this feature.
