vgwit
Can't make the app to see my midi files. Android permissions for the app are set to allow read and write from/into internal storage. Does it matter what directory midi files are in? Also could not find how to close the app. Forced to use task killer. My smartphone is LG Optims G with 4.4 Android and 2GB RAM. Volodymyr. Jeffreychua
I have the same issue too. I was trying to figure out how to get the app to recognize the midi with no success. Hopefully someone has the solution?
Jeffreychua
I managed to find the chordana folder. Once you copied the midi files inside. The app will be able to see them at the midi section.

On Android, it should find your MIDI files automatically when the app opens.

Rather old but the app description accepts it.
Brad Saucier
Did you download MIDI files after you installed the app? or did you already have MIDI files on your phone before you installed Chordana? Try force stopping the app and restarting it.
vgwit
Thank you for replies but app restart does not help. My smartphone is LG Optimus G with original very stable Android version.
Jeffreychua
I am on android 9. I copied the midi file into the internal storage, Music/Chordana_Play_for_Piano/MidiRec folder.
marcopaulo42
To everyone else struggling to get Chordana on Android to recognise and open downloaded midi files, I got my files to be detected by changing the file extension from "*.mid.rtx" to "*.mid"
