Help me with my problem

Recommended Posts

Are you running off batteries or the plug-in adapter?

Could be a bad adapter, either at the connection or the output voltage of the adapter, these can go bad. sounds like the CTK is getting enough power to power up, but not enough to light up the screen and power the internal speaker amp. I've experienced this myself

The only trouble I've ever had with my CTKs is the power connector  becoming faulty. Could also be the power jack inside the CTK. If one of the solder joints has cracked inside (it happens) there will be some voltage getting to the CTK, but not enough to run all its features. If you are not up to checking this yourself and don't know anyone handy with electronics,-better bring it or send it to Casio repair, especially if it is still under warranty
