G777 Posted August 2, 2018 Share Posted August 2, 2018 Hello, At least two tones: 220 Versatile Electric Bass 1 221 Versatile Electric Bass 2 have issue when pressing key doesn't produce any sound. It can be any random key, like 3-4 sequential keys make sound, then pressing next one - silence. My keyboard is CT-X3000 but I assume tone list should be same for CT-X5000 as well. Brad Saucier Posted August 2, 2018 Share Posted August 2, 2018 Versatile tones have velocity switched layers and several key ranges. The appendix sheet shipped with your keyboard outlines which samples play at different velocity ranges and key ranges. What you're hearing as silence (it's not actually silence if you listen carefully) in those versatile bass tones is called ghost notes.
