I'm not familiar with the model, but some things to try are seeing if the switch in the headphone jack is stuck (probably not but worth a try, make sure to check both) by inserting and removing headphones a few times, and checking to see if local control is off and turning it back on. You can find the manual here and look for the info about Local Control. You can find more troubleshooting tips on page E-89.

Let us know what you find.

Here you go Joe.

I have the PX575-same as the 410. I've played everything, including Steinways, Fender Rhodes, original Wurlitzer tine pianos, Kurzweil and Clavinovas and many other digital pianos and workstations and I have the PX350 and 560 too. I strongly disagree, I would take the PX575 over any DGX Yamaha. There is nothing with a true piano action that compares to the PX575 (except the newer Privias) which is why I bought one. Unless you want to spend 1000-2000 plus US dollars for an 88-key Motif, Triton or Roland. Even used for an older Casio it sounds fantastic. You must have a "lemon".

1. Try connecting headphones, hold down the volume up button and pull the plug from the headphone jack.

2. Try removing and inserting the plug from the headphones several times.

3. Take a cotton swab, soak it in alcohol or aseptoline (sold in pharmacies) and wipe the audio connector from the inside.
If not, you need to be a specialist.
