Jokeyman123
Anybody have a favorite setting (tone) for the beautiful ep solo played by Ray Manzarek during "Riders on the Storm"? I've been playing through some of the eps in the 560, but can't tell which is the closest to his old (I think) Rhodes mk I suitcase piano according to the gurus on this stuff. Also-how about Donald Fagen's signature Rhodes sound, with the heavy phasing he tended to favor. He played both Wurlitzer's (listen to Chain Lightning I think it's a Wurly) and Fenders-I think the Steely Dan stuff was mostly the Rhodes. Jokeyman123
I am now! These Fenders were not easy to carry around-I didn't, but I played others Fenders that did. Always seems, the most memorable music ends up being so simple, that's the genius of it. and seeing Morrison's printing with the lyrics, wow. it's significant the that Ray Manzarek had such a good left hand bass technique.
