Sound stoping when changing a stage setting

Hi,

I m using 2 stage settings in the same song  and while holding the keys down (or using sustain pedal) i change from one setting to the other. the sound from the first settings stops sounding.

Ive seen other stage settings wich dont have this behaviour. you can change the SS and the 1 stage setting sound remains active.

What parameter is causing this behaviour?

If the tone sounding is a hex layer tone, it will not continue to sound when switched to another tone.  All other tone types will continue to sound, it's just hex layers that has that restriction.

thanks for your answer. You´re right, it is an hex layer. I thought I was doing something wrong with some other option. 

So i`ll try getting the same sound with a non-hexlayer tone.
