voyteckm
Hi, I have a Alesis Vi25 MIDI OUT connected to Privia PX5S MIDI in. I can use the pads on the Vi25 to play the drums on Zone 1 on the Privia but when i try to record a common phrase one the same stage setting I can play the recorded phrase comes out with no sound, but when I record using the Privia keys it's fine. Is this normal or is there some settings I need to adjust? Thanks!
Brad Saucier
It's normal. You'll need to use a computer and sequencer software to create a MIDI file then convert that to a phrase using the PX-5S data editor.
voyteckm
Thanks Brad appreciate the quick response. I see people were right about the great quality of support we get with Casio keyboards
Hugh O Kelly
I write all my phrase just in the PX5s. It works really well
Choppin
It would be nice if there were a few more editing tools onboard when trying to record a phrase on the PX. For me, suddenly when I'm trying to record something I've played a thousand times before is when I mess up. 😊
