jibin.jacob3
I would like to know whether there is a differences in the sound (Tones/ patches) quality, between MZ X500 and PX560. I personally think that PX560 has better piano Tones while the other tones may not be as good as the MZ X500, is this true?
Brad Saucier
PX-560 has acoustic resonance effects for some of the grand piano tones which the MZ-X does not have. Minus that, those piano tones are generally equal on both. As far as other tones, MZ-X adds new sounds on top of library of tones found in the PX-560. jibin.jacob3
Do you mean that the quality of other tones (like brass, trumpet, strings, guitar etc) in the PX560 are equivalent in quality, to the MZ X500? Or should I wait for an updated PX560 which might have an MXI Sound engine for other tones? For example, AIR for Pianos and MXI or AIX for other tones. If such a digital piano is going to be launched next year, then I'll wait for it, because I think that the MXI sound engine is superior to the PX560's non-piano Tones. Brad Saucier
PX-S3000 is what you're asking for, I think. It will be available soon. They are already on pre-order at many retailers.
jibin.jacob3
But I want Hex Layer too. I would love to buy the MZ X500, but I need at least 76 weighted keys. Anything of this sort in the pipeline?
