John N Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 My keyboard cover tracks are faulty. I removed all screws from rear panel but it is still fixed on and I cannot loosen it. Any advice? Model is AP-7. Quote
Brad Saucier Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Wow, you have an AP-7? That model was released in 1991. It was the very first Celviano released. Since it's an older model, I'm not sure we can help. Perhaps post on photos and we can go from there. Quote
John N Posted September 9, 2019 Author Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) Thanks for your interest Brad. Yes old but in good shape except for the keyboard cover. It has to be pushed evenly from both ends but a visitor (kid) didn't know this so he pushed on one end and it sort of got derailed. I think I can only be helped by someone who has had the same dilemma and found a solution. I have tried to ease it off with screwdrivers but something seems to be holding it down even though all screws are out. All the screws go into the rear face of the panel which is a long right-angle folded panel. I have loaded a picture. OK my mistake. The panel is hinged at the back and apparently must be released at its' front. So now I have to work out how to get the adjoining panel (in front of it) off to release the bigger panel. John Tapsell Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Are you sure there aren't screws underneath that you might have missed? Quote
Ken Clark Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 Did anyone manage to remove the panels to access lid runners. I have same problem and removed all the screws but no luck. Appreciate any help please Quote
