methodman3000
Hi Everyone, I've actually been learning my sequencer, enough that I did some recording. 1st Why am I unable to get the CtX-3000 to record audio. I have it plugged into a 1/4 input adaptor down to a computer adapter, but I can't get any sound into the computer. Is that standard to plug the keyboard straight into the computer or do I need to plug it into a mixer and plug the mixer into the computer? Next, I recorded a midi part into a timewarp 2600 VST and it was on the 4th spot in cakewalk and the selection of the instrument for some reason shows on the 2nd the midi line. I enclosed a picture to see this. What does this mean? Thank you so much for your answers.

Brad Saucier
If your computer has a mic/line input, it should work fine from the CT-X outputs. It's just a matter of configuring the software to record from that input. Is track 1 the audio recording you attempted?
methodman3000
Yeah I got it to record the audio, but now I want to do the various aspects , arpeggiators, accompaniment chords, Drum Track rhythms. Are all those available as an audio stream? or a midi output?. I haven't yet tried to send any midifiles back into the CT-X3000. But I will do that next week. I discovered my cable was bad and stuck a new audio cable into the mixer and it worked. Thanks
Brad Saucier
Everything will output as MIDI. The USB connection is for MIDI, not audio.
