Scarborough Fair/Canticle - Simon & Garfunkel

Recommended Posts

My wife has been wanting me to learn this one (after watching "The Graduate" movie), but I could never find a good arrangement (either too simple or too hard) until now.  Hit from 1966 (original melody is from 1650) using the medieval sounding Dorian mode.  I initially struggled with the timing when adding the counterpoint melody (i.e. canticle) above (fantasy2 voice).  But, after much annoying metronome practice, I got it down.  I included a PDF of the sheet music too should anyone want a go.

I really enjoyed listening to that, well done. Can I ask what piano tone and effect settings you used? Thanks

Thanks for the compliment.  Noire piano (upper 1) with Sub sine (upper 2) both found here:
