Il Violinista
Hello everybody, Today I tryed a gp400. The touch felt very good but even setting the volume at the maximum leve, I felt the piano was really missing some tone. It was really awkward. I also tried a Yamaha p515 close to it and the sound was much more. Anyone had the same kind of feeling? Do you think it's possible there was something wrong with the settings? Thanks, Silvio. Brad Saucier
Casio Grand Hybrid pianos have a very wide dynamic range. You might like to set the touch sense to light. It may have been set to a heavier setting.
Il Violinista
Thank you, yesterday I tried working on the touch sense and it became better with a lighter touch. I also did some research and found others that had the same impression. Apparently the new gp310 and gp510 are now louder.
Nero
I'm just getting used to my GP510 Hybrid and notice that the keyboard touch response, which should increase volume with the speed of key depression, seems ineffective. There is however a very noticable increase in volume when the keyboard response is set to OFF. Has anyone else noticed this? Also how does one save settings when the piano is switched off? The manual is less than clear.
