REY1788
Hi Team CASIO, Hope everyone's had a fabulous weekend. For some reason my CASIO-2100 is not communicating with PRO TOOLS. Im using iOS Catalina on PRO TOOLS 2019, where can I download the drivers if they still exist as I understand this model is very old. Thanks and be well. -Rey
Brad Saucier
Hi there. The CTK-2100 is a class complaint USB MIDI device. It is plug and play. Any issues must be somewhere else, a faulty USB cable?
REY1788
I'm using the TRS cables from the "PHONES/OUTPUT" channel to the audio interface. I'm also using the power cable obviously. I do see an output that says sustain plus the optical square one. No USB outputs of the sort.
Brad Saucier
The square port on the CTK-2100 is a USB Type B port. It is not an optical port. You can a standard USB printer cable to connect this port to a computer.
REY1788
Hey Brad Thanks, I can now see the levels and play my keyboard while listening to the sounds. I can record using the sounds from the CASIO keyboard, however, because the keyboard won't show up under Pro Tools' MIDI Input Devices, It won't allow to use the Keyboard on Plug Ins.
